The Band Played...and Perry Spoke.
Tonight at FCA in Clemson, Perry Noble of NewSpring came out to speak for us all. Though not an official member of the FCA org., I went anyway. It gave me some food for thought and God definitely spoke to me in the verse that Perry shared. I get really pumped when that happens, and I was definitely pumped tonight!
It was good to see all the people that turned out for the event. It makes me glad that we had such a good crowd show up. I'm excited because I think there is a potential to reach students in colleges statewide with similar organizations. I think the awesome people at NewSpring and FCA have set a great example for what needs to be done in order to reach the children of all ages. It gets me pumped up about a couple of future projects: 1.) "Blind", a film that is currently in pre-production, something I hope to organize and do on the cheap. 2.) Amanda and Whit's church, whether it be around Clinton or around Charleston.
I think of these things, and then all of the people I know who could help. It's like I look at all the pieces and I can see what has happened, and what is going to happen. That we are all together in this plan, and we are all bound by it. God has some amazing things in store!!!
I'm also pretty excited about this weekend and observing the production team at NewSpring, as well as spending some fellowship time with the church-fam! Friday, Lee McDerment is playing at Carpenter's Cellar in G-ville, so that's definitely a good time!
